If you recently ended a relationship, changed or lost a job, moved or went through any other significant life changes, you may find yourself having a hard time adjusting to the new situation. You may feel disoriented, anxious, or hopeless. In my practice, I focus on helping people with life transitions.
I specialize in both Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and psychoanalytic treatment. DBT focuses on changing negative behaviors and thought patterns whereas psychoanalysis helps you explore and understand underlying emotional conflicts and patterns.
In addition, I also offer skills training for people with social anxiety. If you find yourself overwhelmed by social situations, or are afraid of being scrutinized, judged, or embarrassed in public, individual or group-based social skills training will help you regain confidence and trust in yourself and coaches you how to be confident in public situations.
